Groovin’ on Grovemont 2025

7/8 - Hearts Gone South 6pm

Hearts Gone South is an original classic-style country and honky tonk full of heart and soul, laced with wit and woe. Bringing fire and feeling to the age-old stories of heartbreak, love, loss, and victory for the underdog. They shoot straight from the hip with impassioned vocals, a tight rhythm section, and smoking leads to hit their target dead on.

Hearts Gone South is based out of Asheville, NC. Hearts Gone South have played sawdust strewn floors to festival stages everywhere from Anchorage to Atlanta. With 3 albums under their belts, and a fourth one on the way, Hearts Gone South travels the circuit, capturing hearts and putting a wiggle in the walk in folks near and far.

7/22 - Las Montañitas 6pm

Las Montañitas brings the Andes to the Appalachians. Their music draws heavily from the Chicha Cumbia scene that emerged in Peru in the late 1960s, featuring psychedelic surf guitar tone, Afro-Colombian dance grooves and Andean inspired melodies.
Mar - vocals, charango, quena
Keith Josiah Smith - guitar, timbales
Sparrow Smith - accordion, vocals
JP Furnas - bass
Ben Colvin - saxophone, guiro
Sully Martinez - congas, bongos

8/5 - Breakfast for Dinner 6pm

Breakfast for Dinner is a vibrant collective of seasoned musicians delivering a indie-soul sound with a creative twist, blending, pop, and dynamic mashups that surprise and delight their audiences. Fronted by the powerhouse vocals of Elise Eden and the soulful stylings of Tom Leiner on vocals and guitar, the band boasts a lineup of musical heavyweights: Rob Geisler on bass, George Scott on keyboards, and Mike Berlin on drums.

Formed by members with deep roots in celebrated projects, Breakfast for Dinner draws on a wealth of talent. Tom and Rob hail from The Business, a nationally known touring private event band represented by East Coast Entertainment, while George and Mike bring their funk expertise from the band Lyric. Adding to the band’s charisma, Elise Eden—an accomplished solo artist whose 2022 EP Candy is available on Spotify—brings her signature artistry and stage presence to the mix.

United by a shared vision to reimagine classic pop songs, Breakfast for Dinner infuses each performance with an infectious energy, crafting unforgettable musical experiences. Whether you're a fan of funk, soul, or pop, Breakfast for Dinner serves up something deliciously unexpected.
